We are entering the final phase of our progress toward converting to the new, more robust information system that will give us a state-of-the-art foundation for improving our member services.
In order to convert to our new system, it will be necessary for us to go offline for a few days as we transfer systems. Our “go live” date is Tuesday, Sept. 2. To help us with the transfer, you need to be aware of the following details.
At 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 29, after finalizing transactions for the business day, our online banking, mobile banking and automated telephone (MATT) system will go offline. Our branches and drive-thru services will remain closed during the Labor Day weekend as we convert to the new system. Because our system will be down, our shared branching partners will not have access to account information. All business operations will resume Sept. 2.
Prepare for the holiday weekend
Our conversion is taking place over the Labor Day holiday weekend. To ensure that you have sufficient funds for your weekend needs, we advise that you visit our branches or use an in-network ATM prior to the weekend. ATM access to your account over the weekend may be limited.
Your account history under our old system will no longer be viewable online in the new system. You will, however, be able to view prior statements. If you need documentation of your account history, print the history before 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 29. All accounts will receive an end-of-month statement for August, including those accounts that generally would not receive one at that time.
Alerts and transfers
Any current account alerts and reoccurring transfers will be converted to the new system.
Update mobile app
On or after Sept. 2, you will need to update your version of Mid American’s mobile app through the iStore or Google Play. If you don’t have the mobile app, you will definitely want to check it out at that time.
New online banking
There is really no way to fully describe just how robust this new system will be. Each member will be able to customize their account homepage to fit their individual needs.
We are here for you
To help with the transition and to thank you for your patience, we will have special activities going on in our branches the week of Sept. 2. In the initial days following the conversion, we will also have an internal call center available 7 a.m.-7 p.m. weekdays and 8 a.m.-2 p.m. weekends by calling 316-722-3921.
