Affiliate Group Branch Manager
Overview:
Manage relationship with affiliate group and promote Credit Union business with affiliate group employees. Assist members with loan applications, make credit decision based upon lending policy, process loan and make loan disbursements. Assist members with financial transactions, involving paying and receiving cash and other negotiable instruments.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Promote credit union services to affiliate group employees. Develop Credit Union promotions for affiliate group employees. Present promotional information to affiliate group employees in accordance with affiliate company guidelines.
Analyze current financial position of members to determine the degree of risk involved in
extending credit or lending money. Make decision to approve, disapprove, or forward the
loan request to higher levels for decision.
Receive and process member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments and transfers; sell money orders and travellers checks. Post transactions to member accounts, balance cash drawer and daily transactions.
Welcome members and provide routine information concerning services. Crosssell credit union services.
Interview member loan applicants to develop information concerning their loan needs,
earnings and financial condition. Explain loan programs to members, evaluate their needs
and recommend loan options.
Open member saving, checking, IRA, and certificate accounts.
Perform a variety of miscellaneous tasks including typing, filing, computer input and answering the telephone.
