Secure Account Access
For your protection, Desktop Banking employs two forms of security to protect confidential data: Password+PIN and Data Encryption. We know the importance of security, and that's why we require a password and a PIN for account access. In addition, our system uses 128-bit data encryption, verified and monitored by VeriSign. You can rest assured that your accounts are safe with Mid American's Desktop Banking.
Logging In to Your Account
In order to use Desktop Banking, you will need to specify both a PIN and a password in writing using our Authorization Form. Once you have your PIN and password you can login by clicking the Member Login button located in the upper right corner of all of our site's pages.
Warning: You will have 3 tries to enter both your PIN and your Password. On the third incorrect attempt, your PIN and Password will be reset, and you will need to contact us to set them up again. This feature prevents someone from trying to guess your log on information.
Desktop Banking requires Internet Explorer 8.0 or higher or a browser compatible with 128-bit encryption such as Mozilla Firefox 3.5 or higher.. You can check the compatibility of your browser with VeriSign's browser check.
