  • In general, longer Certificate terms have the higher rates
  • Regular Certificates may also be held in Traditional or Roth IRAs, SEPs, and Health Savings Accounts
  • If you withdraw funds before the Certificate matures, you could forfeit some of your dividend earnings. But your initial investment is never at risk.
  • Special one-year Certificates
  • Minimum opening deposit of just $100
  • Build up your balance with automatic transfers from other Mid American accounts - timed to your payday
  • Additional deposits must total at least $10 per month
